Who’s hanging out at your website?  Now that’s a funny question, but that’s what you want your prospects to do, hang out at your site!  Make your website a place to visit and stay by offering a vast amount of services or products.

Let your website become the most informative site surrounding your product or service offering.  Provide your visitors the most valuable free and up to date information that will keep them coming back for more!  Articles and informational newsletters will keep them lurking for more and don’t forget to offer free downloads or free gifts as people always enjoy freebies!

Make your website one that is bookmarked!  When people come back and forth to your site for more info, and stay a little longer each time it begins to establish a trust between you and the potential client.

Use flash, unique images, even out of the ordinary but readable text!  We sometimes “judge a book by its cover” so if something is appealing to the eye, people stay interested which in turn keeps them interested in your site.

Another way to get prospects to your website is to offer a newsletter or email blast.  By doing this, they receive news from your company on a regular basis, which keeps your company on their mind.  With the newsletter, offer monthly contests that would once again offer something free but requires visitors to check back on your site for results or new offers.

Lastly, interact with your visitors.  Have a blog on your site or a link to your Facebook or Twitter link.  And when your visitors make comments, reply!  A simple reply may be the beginning to a new client/vendor relationship.

Your web site is your store front on-line, so you want people to see your site, enter and stay awhile!  So, keep your site full of current and valuable information and prospects will want to come back for more.
